Berries are so abundant in the summer months, dying to be used. Get a little saucy and give them all the flavors of a refreshing mojito.
Summer calls for fruit salad. Between all the parties, family get togethers and holidays, you’ll need a good fruit salad recipe in your pocket. Sure, there are the standard recipes with grapes and strawberries. Maybe some get a little crazy and add in marshmallows or pudding. But isn’t that sooooo tired? This mint mojito fruit salad is just the ticket for your summer parties (or lazy days at home or by the beach).
I first fell in love with moitos while on my honeymoon in Disney World. After a wild and wet ride on Splash Mountain, Brian and I decided to eat dinner at the first place we came across – The Turf Club in Saratoga Springs. I didn’t expect much from the hotel restaurant but my mind was quickly changed. We were greeted with a phone call from Mickey Mouse, wishing us congratulations on our wedding. We ordered some drinks and dinner. And then it began – the best meal of my life. Pork chops with red onion jam, three cheese casserole and lots and lots of free flowing mojitos. Traditional, passion fruit, mango. I tasted paradise and I was never going back.
These days, I lay off the rum a bit but still enjoy the bright, fresh flavors of a mojito. This fruit salad fulfills all my needs. Four berries, loads of fresh mint and a good squeeze of lime. Perfect for the summer season!

That sounds awesome! Love the addition of mint, I can just imagine the flavor that would offer.
This sounds like my kind of fruit salad!
Lime, mint, berries and sugar – so loving this summer salad!!!
Yum! This looks great.
This gives me another way to use up our mint in the garden! This looks so refreshing!
This looks delicious! I love the flavors in a mojito!
This sounds so good!
I love that you have four different kinds of berries in here! And the mojito action doesn’t hurt either : ) Hope you had a great weekend!
I love the mint addition!!
What’s better than a mojito? A mojito flavored salad, of course! Looks delicious!
That looks so refreshing, I could have loved a bowl of that with my blueberry lemonade today.
I love mint with fresh berries and lime!
This looks so refreshing and tasty!
This gives me a great idea! I’ve been making berry salads a few days a week, and I have chocolate mint in my garden, found it at home depot. I don’t know how they can make a plant taste like chocolate, but it’s awesome!
This is beautiful and sounds so refreshing!
Love this for the summer
I love this refreshing twist on a summer fruit salad. It’s brilliant! Mint and fruit pair together wonderfully.
I really love mojitos too and this salad looks incredible! You can never have to many berries!
Lovely vibrant colors. There’s nothing like a plate of fresh fruits to add a little kick to your summer palate. I came across your blog when I was searching for fruit photos on Foodgawker. I just started exploring with a DSLR not too long ago and all I am currently shooting is fruit. And I had just been wondering if the photos submitted to Foodgawker (for when I am ready…after a LOT more practice) need to be recipe based.
I love mojitos! They’re the perfect drink for summer, and this salad is a clever way to incorporate the mint-lime flavor combo!
And I love that you have such fond memories of mojitos because of your honeymoon. I’m the same way with Pina Coladas. We went to Key West on our hm, and it was my drink of choice for those few brief days!
Oh, I love food memories! It’s so fun to have certain things conjure up great memories.
Mojitos are my favorite ever summer drink! But…I would probably like them better in fruit salad form if we’re being honest. So fun for summer!
I, too love mojitos! But these days, I am liking the fruit salad version more and more!
Lucky me! I have everything I need at home to make this!!
Perfect!
I can’t get enough fresh berries while they’re in season. The addition of mint and lime sounds awesome!
I totally agree, fresh berries are the best!
Awesome dessert for these hot Atlanta nights! Big fan of mojitos here and these are great flavors for a berry salad!!
I definitely think this would be great in the heat! The mint has such a fun cooling factor.
Refreshing!
This sounds lovely!
I’m giving this a try next time I make fruit salad! Sounds glorious! 😉
I hope you love it!
